Getting Started

How does scrollstopping.video work?

scrollstopping.video transforms your short clips into scroll-stopping variations. Upload a 10-60 second clip with optional audio, and we use AI to separate you from the background, then apply beat-synced effects and depth-aware backgrounds. You get 5 unique variations with different looks - upload once, download five. The entire process takes just minutes.

Do I need a subscription?

Yes, an active paid subscription is required to upload and process videos. You can sign up for a subscription after creating your free account. Visit the subscription page to view available plans.

What video formats are supported?

We support MP4, MOV, AVI, and MKV video formats. The maximum file size is 2GB per video. For best results, use videos with clear audio and good lighting.

Upload & Processing

How long does processing take?

Most clips are processed within 2-5 minutes for all 5 variations. You'll receive real-time progress updates via the web interface, and can safely close the page - processing continues in the background. We'll email you when your variations are ready.

What happens if processing fails?

If processing fails, our system automatically retries up to 2 times. If the issue persists, you'll see an error message on your video detail page. Common causes include corrupted files, incompatible formats, or videos without audio. Contact support if you need assistance.

How many variations will I get?

You'll get 5 unique variations from each upload. Each variation has a different combination of background style, effects, and color grade: Energetic, Chill, Retro, Dramatic, and Clean. This lets you A/B test which style performs best for your audience.

Can I upload videos with copyrighted music?

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and process any content, including music. We process your videos but do not grant or verify licensing rights. If you plan to share clips publicly, make sure you have the necessary permissions for the music.

Account & Billing

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime through your subscription page. Click "Manage Subscription" to access the Lemon Squeezy customer portal where you can cancel. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

What is your refund policy?

We offer refunds within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable, but exceptions may be made for billing errors or technical issues. See our full Refund Policy for details.

How do I change my password or email?

Visit your account settings to manage your password and email address. You can also access these options directly: Change Password or Manage Email.

How do I delete my account?

You can permanently delete your account from your account settings. This will delete all your videos, clips, and data. This action cannot be undone. Make sure to cancel any active subscriptions first.

Privacy & Security

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and storage. Videos are stored on Amazon S3 with encryption at rest. Passwords are hashed using secure algorithms. We never sell your data or share it with third parties except as required to provide the service.

What data do you collect?

We collect your email address, uploaded videos, generated clips, subscription information, and basic usage data. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I download my data?

Yes. You can download all your generated clips directly from the video detail pages. If you need a complete export of your account data, please contact support.

Technical Issues

My upload failed. What should I do?

Common causes of upload failures include:

  • File size exceeds 2GB limit
  • Unsupported video format (use MP4, MOV, AVI, or MKV)
  • Poor internet connection
  • Rate limit exceeded (max 10 uploads per hour)

If the issue persists after checking these, please contact support with details about the video file.

The clips won't download. Help!

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Check your browser's download settings and permissions
  • Disable browser extensions that might block downloads
  • Try a different browser
  • Check your internet connection

I'm not receiving emails. What's wrong?

Check your spam/junk folder for emails from hello@scrollstopping.video. If you still can't find them:

  • Add hello@scrollstopping.video to your contacts/safe senders
  • Check that your email address is correct in your account settings
  • Contact support if verification emails aren't arriving
