At scrollstopping.video, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available for subscriptions and purchases.
2. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles all aspects of payment processing, including refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes. As the Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy has the final authority on refund decisions.
3. Subscription Refunds
3.1 Standard Refund Period
We offer refunds within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase if you are unsatisfied with the service for any reason. To request a refund:
- The request must be made within 14 days of purchase

- Include your order number and email address
3.2 Renewal Refunds
Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable. However, we may provide refunds for renewals in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Technical issues that prevented cancellation before renewal
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Service outages that significantly impacted your ability to use the service
Renewal refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the renewal charge.
3.3 Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial or pro-rated refunds for cancelled subscriptions. When you cancel your subscription, you retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period.
4. Technical Issues and Service Failures
4.1 Processing Failures
If our service fails to process your video due to a technical error on our end, we will:
- Retry the processing automatically (up to 2 retries)
- Notify you if processing cannot be completed
- Offer a refund or service credit if the issue cannot be resolved
Note: Issues caused by incompatible video formats, corrupted files, or files exceeding size limits (2GB) are not eligible for refunds.
4.2 Service Outages
In the event of extended service outages (more than 48 consecutive hours), we may provide service credits or refunds at our discretion.
5. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:
- You changed your mind after the 14-day refund period
- You did not use the service during your subscription period
- You violated our Terms of Service, resulting in account suspension
- The generated clips did not meet your subjective quality expectations (AI results vary)
- You uploaded incompatible, corrupted, or copyrighted content
- You exceeded usage limits or violated rate limiting policies
- Third-party issues (e.g., internet connectivity, device compatibility)
6. Lemon Squeezy's Refund Authority
As our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy reserves the right to issue refunds within 60 days of purchase to prevent chargebacks or resolve payment disputes. This is beyond our control and is part of Lemon Squeezy's role as the Merchant of Record.

7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

- Include your order number (found in your purchase receipt)
- Provide your account email address
- Briefly explain the reason for your refund request
We will respond to refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy and typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment method and financial institution.
8. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company (initiate a chargeback), please contact us first. Chargebacks can result in:
- Immediate account suspension
- Additional fees or penalties
- Inability to use the service in the future
We prefer to resolve disputes directly and amicably. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback.
9. Changes to Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
